Miss Garner's Outstanding Teen - Victoria
Kucinski
Victoria Kucinski is the sixteen year old
daughter of Joe and Sandy Kucinski of Asheboro, NC.
She is the granddaughter of Wayne and Brenda Langley of
Asheboro and Joseph Kucinski of Salisbury, and the late
Deloris Kucinski.
Victoria was crowned Miss Garner's
Outstanding Teen on Feb 20, 2010. For her talent she
performed a vocal from the classic Broadway musical, Les
Miserables, "I Dreamed a Dream". She is a sophomore
and an honor roll student attending Asheboro High Zoo
School. Victoria keeps busy with Honors classes and
volunteering in the community. She has taken part in
community theater with lead roles in musicals as:
Dorothy in Oz, Alice in Wonderland, and Becky Thatcher in
Tom Sawyer. She loves traveling, dancing, rock
climbing and skiing. She will be attending the
National Youth Leadership Forum on Medicine in Boston this
summer. She hopes and aspires to attend the NC School
of the Arts her junior and senior year in high school.
Victoria is very passionate about her
platform "Finding a Cure for Juvenile Diabetes". She
has witnessed firsthand the daily and long term effects
juvenile diabetes presents. Each year more than 15,000
children are diagnosed with the disease. She
encourages people to make healthy choices in their
lives and participates in a Walk for the Cure each
year. |

In affiliation with the Miss North Carolina Pageant Organization,
North Carolina’s Outstanding Teen Program,
and the Miss America Outstanding Teen Program
Goals
• Encourage younger, active involvement in the Miss North Carolina Scholarship Pageant
• Provide forum for personal growth
• Mentor using positive role models
• Have Fun!
Garner's Outstanding Teen Pageant invites young women between the ages of 13-17 who are not yet a senior to become a contestant in the 2010 Pageant
to be held on Saturday, February 20th, 2010.
Participation in Garner's Outstanding Teen program
provides a unique opportunity for young ladies to
gain valuable pageant experience as well as life
skills. The competition is intended to encourage and
reward scholastic achievement, communication skills,
talent, and community service. This
Preliminary is open to residents of North Carolina.
Contestants must be a legal resident or a full time
student in NC for at least 6
months. All rehearsals are mandatory and will begin
January 24, 2010.

The areas of competition include:
Private interview, talent presentation, evening gown, and physical fitness.
Two winners will receive a crown, trophy, and her competition entry fees paid for her to compete for North Carolina's Outstanding Teen Title in June 2010. North Carolina's Outstanding Teen will then go on to compete for the national title of Miss America Outstanding Teen in Orlando, Florida in August
