Garner's Outstanding Teen Pageant invites young women between the ages of 13-17 who are not yet a senior to become a contestant in 2009 Pageant to be held on Saturday, November
1, 2008.
Participation in Garner's Outstanding Teen program
provides a unique opportunity for young ladies to
gain valuable pageant experience as well as life
skills. The competition is intended to encourage and
reward scholastic achievement, communication skills,
talent, and community service. This
Preliminary is open to Residents of Wake, Johnston,
Orange, Durham, Vance & Franklin counties.
Contestants must be a legal resident or a full time
student in one of the counties for at least 6
months. All rehearsals are mandatory and will begin
October 5, 2008.
Entry Fee: $150.00
The areas of competition include:
Private interview, talent presentation, evening gown, and physical fitness.
The winner will receive a crown, trophy, $200.00 Savings Bond, and her competition entry fees paid for her to compete for North Carolina's Outstanding Teen Title in June 2009. North Carolina's Outstanding Teen will then go on to compete for the national title of Miss America Outstanding Teen in Orlando, Florida in August 2009. (all fees paid by Miss North Carolina Pageant)
